Meet our isopods, nature’s clean up crew!

Isopods are hardy, low maintenance, soil-dwelling creatures that play a vital role in keeping enclosures clean and healthy. They break down organic waste, help maintain soil health, and thrive in humid environments, which makes them perfect for bioactive terrariums or as a micro-pet colony.

We currently offer:

Dairy Cow – These isopods are large compared to others. They are active and easy to spot with their bold black and white pattern. Please keep in mind, these are protein motivated morphs. They need to have animal-based proteins in their diet. Tetra’s Jumbo Krill Freeze Dried Jumbo Shrimp works well as a supplement. Dairy Cow isopods should not be mixed with other isopod morphs.

Powder Orange – Bright and lively, these orange isopods are known to be quick breeders and thrive in most set ups.

Candy Crush – A colorful mix with pastel tones, these are a fun choice for isopod collectors and display enclosures.

Oreo Crumbles – Black and white with a speckled pattern, these are medium-sized and easy to care for. Oreo Crumble isopods are a great choice for a hobbyist looking to add natural decomposers to their bioactive setups while wanting that touch of color.

All our isopods are raised in healthy, natural conditions of organic and fertilizer-free potting soil, sphagnum peatmoss, leaf litter and worm castings. They come ready to thrive in your setup, whether you are starting a bioactive terrarium or expanding your collection.
